Deepen your unique sense of movement exploration. Improvisation classes are led by rotating Teaching Artists on the last Friday of the month, crafted for dancers of all levels to enjoy and unwind from the week. Join us for a fun, communal, contemporary dance experience! Stay for a glass of wine, it's Friday night!
Participants are guided through an open-level improvisation class, where they are encouraged to explore different ways of moving while releasing the stress of the week! Dance is for everyone and improvisation is a great way to discover or deepen your unique sense of dancing, your body's natural impulses and innate musicality. We can develop trust and connection to ourselves and the dancers around us.
